Fred W. Hogan, C.S.W., CCGC, C.J.C., Vice President

Fred W. Hogan is currently Vice President of the Council.  He was a 1999 recipient of The Council on Compulsive Gambling of NJ's Governmental Award.  Fred is employed by the New Jersey State Public Defender.  Fred has served the State of New Jersey for the past thrity-seven years, devoting a large portion of that time to substance abuse and compulsive gambling issues.  He is presently the Statewide Drug Court Coordinator and liaison for the ISP Unit.  Fred is a member of Innocence International in Defense of the Wrongfully Convicted.  Fred is a co-founder of APTPG (Association of Professionals Treating Problem Gambling).  Fred's commitment to the field of substance abuse recovery is evidenced by his participation during the past twenty-five years as a Facilitator for the "Lawyers Assistance Program.  Fred has been honored for his special work with troubled attorneys.
